** Wednesday 16 September - WI House **
    "Centenary Drop In" day 10am-7pm 
Spinning, willow weaving,  bobbin lace, Mah Jong and demonstrations, including Fritz of Moulton Garden Centre giving handy horticultural tips, plus Moulton Morris Men and no WI event would be complete without a raffle and WI tea and cake.

PLUS Centenary Picnic at Sulgrave Manor

Saturday 6 June 7pm - The Old Rectory, Blisworth
Mikron Theatre Co presents "Raising Agents, 100 years of the WI"
No ticket rquired (a cash collection will be taken after the show).

Tuesday 16 June - Barton Seagrave WI
Centenary Tea Party in The Orangery at Barton Hall.
Victoria Sandwich competition and musical entertainment provided by young instrumentalists and singers.

Wednesday 22 July - Bozeat WI
Celebratory tea at Castle Ashby Tea Rooms - Hats were worn!

Saturday 12 September - Raunds Carnival
Members from Stanwick, Higham Ferrers and Raunds took part in Raunds Carnival to represent 100 years of the WI.

Saturday 12 September - Brigstock WI
Open day in WI Hall showing displays over the past 100 years. Traditional home-made cakes, tea and coffee will be served. Competitions for all, especially for children.

Sunday 13 September - Braunston WI
From 3pm in Braunston Village Hall an afternoon tea for members plus previous members and visitors. Entertainment will be a group of Buskers from the Rugby U3A.

Tuesday 15 September - Milton Malsor and Collingtree WI
Centenary Afternoon Tea at Milton Malsor Village Hall. Exhibitions of history, past campaigns and items of interest.

Tuesday 15 September - Oakley Vale WI
Vintage style invitation to a 1915 night, members encouraged to dress in 1915 style, committee wearing green sashes with Votes for Women on them (suffragette style). Competitions, Quiz, pass the parcel - adding up to a great night.

Tuesday 15 September - Harlestone WI
"Star Gazing" accompanied by celebration cake and champagne at Harlestone Village Institute.

Tuesday 15 September - Hunsbury Hill WI
"Nostalgia meeting" with Lynda Beck doing a powerpoint presentation showing all the WI has done over the last 33 years. Cake and Bubbly to toast the WI. Later on in the Autumn an Oak Tree, with commemorative plaque, to be planted in Hunsbury Park.

Wednesday 16 September - Hargrave WI
10.30 - 12.30pm Celebrating the WI Centenary with coffee, tea and cakes and entertainment by the Hargrave Singers at 11.00am.

Wednesday 16 September - Earls Barton WI
1.30pm in All Saints Parish Church Hall. Music from decades, memories from records and from members past and present. Light hearted quiz. Tea & Cake. Members dressed in costumes.

Wednesday 16 September - Chacombe WI
12-2pm Soup Lunch for villagers and friends to celebrate 100 years of the WI.

Wednesday 16 September - Daventry WI
2pm Centenary Party with a magician and lots of scrummy food plus special cake.

Wednesday 16 September - Harlestone, Harpole and Duston WIs
Joining together for a "Centenary Vintage" afternoon tea and entertainment at the Bowls Club in Harpole, Larkhall Lane NN7 4DP 3-5 pm. Cake cutting at 4.30pm and a toast to the WI. Paul Cowley will recite Stanley Holloway monologues and a brief history of his life. Display table with object or photographs from approx 100 years ago.

Afternoon Garden Party and picnic, plus games.

Wednesday 16 September - Roade WI
Afternoon Garden Party plus competition "Hats through the Century".

Wednesday 16 September - Blakesley cum Woodend WI
Photocall by the 3 planters under the village name signs on the roads leading into the village. Planters erected and planted by members to mark the Centenary of the WI.

Wednesday 16 September- Kings Sutton WI
Usual monthly meeting with a speaker on photography PLUS 'nostalgia time', looking at photo albums from previous decades, outings and maybe a glass of bubbly!

Thursday 17 September - Ravensthorpe WI
Festivities include a short talk on Ravensthorpe 100 years ago, 1915 tunes to sing along to, party food/drinks and members encouraged to wear 1915 style dress.

Saturday 19 September - Towcester Evening WI
Towcester Evening WI is planning an exhibition "100 years of the WI" in Towcester Town Hall. There will also be a Bake-Off competition, activities for adults and children, craft and produce stalls and displays, not forgetting WI tea and cake. TEWI would love to see fellow members from around the County.

Wednesday 7 October - Great Doddington Evening WI
Centenary Event including home-made cake and a glass of wine. Contact WI for tickets.

Saturday 10 October and Sunday 11 October - Greens Norton WI
On Saturday an exhibition is being staged in the Church where the WI is hosting the Church's regular coffee morning.  On Sunday WI members will be participating in the Church Service itself. Coffee and tea will be served before the service which will give WI members an opportunity to promote and celebrate the WI with the congregation.
